Tell ya what, that Rockefeller fella has all the charisma and personality of a sloth on Valium. I tried to listen to his address to the crowd upon receiving an award that Bush, who upon receiving it the previous year had said that ‘peace was an art form’!!!.. a couple of years after he had ordered the killing of countless hundreds of thousands of Iraqis.. the mind boggles at the insanity involved in the course of events that these people are responsible for, yet Never face consequences as a result .. I digress.. Rockefeller.. yes.. I got maybe three quarters through his interminable monotone bullshit, I’m not sure exactly.. something something about America not being the policeman of the world.. ALONE, was the word that struck me.. he snuck that in just after the dire consequences of the world’s population exceeding 8 billion, and the effects our activity.. the shaming had begun even then, the blaming of the choiceless consumer, namely us, for the pollution caused by creating the products consumed, the means of which are beyond our control... as I am trying to say, the guys a hard listen. At least for me. But thanks for the link in any case.

Kinda like that nephew at a family reunion that wouldn’t shut up. I can’t remember who he was talking at, but he said something along these lines “why do you care about the people, they are not your family. Take it easy, have some fun, take care of your family; there will be plenty of money. If the people don’t comply, we’ll just turn their chip off; fine deal. Let’s get a drink”
